Rooftop + Sidetent
The original design was conceived by Tent n Trailer
cc
and has been developed, tested and improved by them over the past seven years
in conjunction with all the major off-road trailer manufacturers in South Africa.
Made from lightweight Polyester,
the material is double waterproofed, UV protected and Scotchgarded to South African Bureau
of Standards specifications.
The tent opens with minimum effort like a pram top,leaving you relaxed to enjoy the sunset
around the campfire.
A comfortable 150mm thick doublebed mattress on top of the trailer, ensures a good night's
rest for the following day's wildlife experience.
The spacious sidetent of 2.15m x 2.4m with its wall sized gauze window is ideal for
socializing with your friends. With the zip-on waterproof groundsheet which keeps
out creepy crawlies, it doubles as sleeping area for 2 to 3 more persons.
Daytime the front wall opens out on tentpoles to form a large veranda. A loose roof
lining on the inside absorbs condensate that may form on cool damp nights and also
provides heat insulation for that midday nap.
Instead of having suitcases all over the floor, six large built-in clothesbags cater for
your daily needs. The clothesbags, clothes and all, fold up with the rest of
the tent into a zip-up, water and dustproof cover.
